For thousand years geometry has been a means of understanding the cosmos as well as a presence in the human-made world—both in its design and making. According to Bertrand Russell mathematics "possesses not only truth but supreme beauty." The beauty of geometry can be an answer to the human search for meaning and provide cognitive and behavioral models.
HEALING GEOMETRIES is a theory and praxis on meditation and embodyment of geometry as copying mechanism to mental, emotional and physical stress.
HEALING GEOMETRIES spans from psychosomatic practices to design products - where the mind-body connection is guided by geometric configurations. The brand is targeted to the wellness industry and based on the 'Movement Infrastructure', developed as a moving meditation system for the doctoral research "Form Mind Body Space Time - the Geometry of Human Movement ". The Movement Infrastructure is a conceptual framework and built modular system, based on the solid icosahedron, inspiring and guiding human movement, where the subject moves and aligns to geometry inspired postures, achieving states of mindfulness and relaxation. The awareness of movements becomes also an ongoing discovery of the embodied geometry: forms found in 'sacred geometries', linking abstract mathematical shapes to the world of nature, become guidance in the proprioception of the moving meditation of the research practice. Centering the body becomes a means of centering the mind where movement is a spiritual practice and the movement vocabulary is based on several yoga asanas. HEALING GEOMETRIES also includes a collection of body ornaments based on sacred geometry.
